Male', MALDIVES- Victory’s foreign players included in AFC Cup squad finally joined the club and start participating club practices. The two new players are; Luciano Thiella, a Croatian defender and Marcos Aguero, an Argentinean striker.
Victory general secretary Ahmed Marzooq (Marey) said they are yet to find the true level of the players and added they brought them based on the video footages. Victory will depart to Singapore tonight and the two new players will joined the journey to face Singapore’s Home United on April 2nd.
Victory will leave behind injured midfielder Rodriguez and the club insists they want the Paraguay play maker to rest for their next game.
In the other match of AFC Cup, New Radiant will face Singapore Armed Forces in Male’. Both the clubs were drawn into same group in last year as well and Armed Forces beat 2005’s semi finalist in both legs.
